From Concept to Community
Helping communities bring ambitious housing, behavioral health, and community development projects to life.
The best projects happen when someone can see the whole picture...
I bring together lived experience, clinical expertise, project management, housing development, and systems knowledge to help communities move ambitious ideas from possibility to reality.
I see the details others miss. I connect the pieces that do not naturally fit together. I ask the questions that prevent costly mistakes. And when a project feels impossible, I help find the path forward.
Why Hand-in-Hand?
Because successful projects are about more than construction, funding, or operations. They are about people.
The people who will live there.
The people who will work there.
The people who will fund it.
The people who will support it.
And sometimes, the people who oppose it.
My experience spans homelessness response, behavioral health, housing development, project management, and community engagement. That perspective helps me identify challenges early, navigate complexity, and keep projects moving forward.
When others see separate systems, I see connections.
How Hand-in-Hand can Help...
Whether you're planning a new housing development, navigating a complex community initiative, strengthening a behavioral health program, or trying to move a challenging project forward, Hand-in-Hand brings together the people, systems, and ideas needed to make progress.
- Project Development & Implementation Helping projects move from concept to reality through planning, coordination, problem-solving, and strategic oversight.
- Housing & Homelessness Expertise Supporting communities in creating housing opportunities, improving systems of care, and building pathways toward long-term stability.
- Operational Planning Designing programs, staffing models, and service approaches that work not only on paper, but in day-to-day practice.
- Stakeholder & Community Engagement Building understanding, trust, and collaboration among agencies, service providers, community members, elected officials, and project partners.
- Strategic Problem Solving Identifying barriers, uncovering opportunities, and helping organizations navigate challenges that do not have straightforward answers.
- Special Projects Providing leadership and support for innovative initiatives that require creativity, persistence, and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking.
When others see roadblocks, I see opportunities.
I help communities tackle complex housing, behavioral health, and human service challenges by connecting the pieces others miss. With experience spanning lived recovery, clinical practice, homelessness response, project management, and housing development, I bring a unique perspective to projects that require both innovation and implementation.
Because lasting change doesn't happen through temporary fixes. It happens when vision, strategy, and action come together.
FEATURED EXPERIENCE
WELCOME HOME VILLAGE
54 supportive housing units.
$13.4 million project.
10-month construction timeline.
As Project Manager for the Welcome Home Village, I helped coordinate public agencies, nonprofit partners, contractors, service providers, and community stakeholders to bring one of the nation's most innovative supportive housing communities from vision to reality.
Some of my best work started with someone saying,
"It can't be done."
The projects that matter most are rarely simple. They involve competing priorities, limited resources, multiple stakeholders, and challenges that don't come with a roadmap.
I enjoy untangling complexity, challenging assumptions, and finding opportunities where others see obstacles.
If you're working on something ambitious and need someone who can connect the pieces, navigate uncertainty, and keep moving forward when others get stuck, let's talk.
